Yi Chen (ๆๅกต) takes its meaning from a single stick of incense: smoke rises, a moment passes, and what remains returns to dust. For us, it is a gentle reminder to let go of excess and return to what matters.
A family craft, carried forward
Our family's incense story began in the 1940s, when our grandfather's generation started making incense by hand. The recipes they passed down are part of the inheritance we carry today.
As their grandchildren, we want to share that inheritance with more people. In a world shaped by mass production, we believe the work of human hands still deserves to be seen, valued and carried forward.
A place for handcraft in everyday life
Through Yi Chen, we bring our family's connection to Chinese incense into the present. Our hope is simple: that a small daily ritual can also be a way to support a craft worth keeping.
